I tend to think that straight men and woman are jealous of gay men. Gay men represent an amazing attack on the social power structure, represented by the fact that men have to pander to women to be accepted in society. The gay man does not need, or maybe even want, women. The gay man is a brave alternative to the cowering, brow-beaten straight male. They can be totally fearless in their creative explorations. Gay men are just better and smarter; they constantly rise above boring straight culture

everybody is a whole person, smart or stupid kind or cruel, witty or dull, pleasant or grouchy, friendly or arrogant, sraight or gay or bi, poised or klutzy, dependable or irresponsible, honest or liar, brave or cowardly. Sexuality is an individual thing - look at the whole person.

Rock stars of the hetero stripe also are not your folks next door. For example, Ozzy Osbourne is not exactly the guy next door.
Throw away the cookie cutters and look at each and every person as an individual.

The Canadian is cute too.
February 6th, 2010 at 9:24 pm
This is true. I’ve thought of that too. Canada embraces him better than his own country. I’ve been listening to a lot of his radio interviews and some of the questions asked by the US radios are inane and douche-y. USA, what’s up with that?

I’ll be even more impressed if he can choreograph the dance sequence for live performances, direct & shoot & edit his own music video, design and sew his own stage costumes, design & build his own stage props, and play all the instruments in all his songs in the coming albums.
Because ONLY THEN could he be a TRUE ARTIST.
And if he can fly a plane, win a Nobel prize and find the cure for cancer, that’d be fine too.

lesmcluffalot - haven’t said who else could sing that difficult music, I note. Obviously you haven’t listened to his album - plenty of rock incorporated there. Album is eclectic - Muse’s “Soaked,” “Sleepwalker,” “Broken Open,” “Aftermath,” “Music Again,” “WWFM,” “SFW,” “Loaded Smile,” - and nothing wrong with good Dance Pop (it’s fun - just like Adam). The best male voice in the the biz today. Name a better one.

Yeah dance pop is real sophisticated music, which Adam mentions is his favourite genre. It’s the bottom of the barrel.

I’ll be impressed when someone else can sing those 14 difficult songs on his album with the same brilliance Adam does. Guitar pluckers with mediocre voices are a dime a dozen. Check out YouTube where you’ll find a number of songs he wrote pre-Idol (which he may be doing with Monte on a new release). USA used to listening to a lot of boring Top40 pap–Adam and his music are far superior in every way. The more sophisticated music fans here and in Europe/Asia/SA recognize this. Sui generis.

This is one of THE BEST interviews with Adam. The interviewer is fantastic so interesting and Adam as usual is articulate, interesting, smart, beautiful and sexy. I can’t get enough of this interview I just want it to go on and on. I love how Adam is so comfortable in his skin and I think that the more people get to know him the more they will be comfortable with homosexual sexuality. Yea Adam. Just love you so much.

To the interviewer,
I commend you on how professional, warm and intelligent you were in this interview with Adam. Your speaking voice is soothing and your questions were fresh. Adam seemed comfortable with you and was his usual articulate, honest, sweet self. And did I mention how beautiful the close-ups are? Thank You.

I’ll be impressed when he can write his own songs and they are hits, and play an instrument.

The close ups are to die for in that video….so incredibly gorgeous….his eyes are mezmerizing….and he is sooo intelligent, articulate, frank, honest, humble, sweet….LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!

Adam is definitely wise beyond his years….and his talent?? He’s so amazing…I honestly cannot understand why anyone would not love this man….unfortunately, negativity tends to rule society these days…Adam WILL help to change that!!

Man everyone wants Adam Lambert.

loyalamb… Adam will wow the international community as most countries are like Canada in their entertainment tastes, we appreciate diversity, originalitiy and intelligence and Adam fills that bill!
February 6th, 2010 at 9:24 pm
Being a smaller country in population and with our history, we tend to be more outward looking, more ‘international’ in our general outlook and more informed as to world issues, particularly all things American.
