Adam Lambert at 22 - Brigadoon
ByAdam Lambert gives a brilliant performance of “Come to Me, Bend to Me” from “Brigadoon.” There’s no video, but we include some older photos of Adam that you may not have seen. The performance is from Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars in 2004 - so Adam was about 22 years old. Amazingly, this is from a “live” stage performance, not a studio recording with multiple takes. Thanks to Mary for sending us the MP3. Adam has made it very clear that this is not the type of recording he wants to make …

OMG, I’m dying here. This is the first time I heard this. For all those that say Adam
screeches, they need to hear this.
Adam you have been blessed with a
beautiful voice. Thank you for sharing
it with the world.

Adam’s voice is the purest I have ever heard. His diverse talent from singing classical scores with accent, hebrew translation through to Freddie Mercury numbers shows just how amazing he is. His range and control is always a surprise with each new song. He can also act so his future is assured in the entertainment industry. Add his confidence and good looks and this is the whole package.

This most beautiful rendition never fails to bring me to tears. I agree that some day Adam should record an album of songs like this one that will surely transcend whatever generation gap still exists (though I think it has narrowed quite a bit since I was a teen) to appeal to all generations. Who could not appreciate such a gorgeous tenor voice as Adam’s? Magnificent!

The perfect blend of tenderness, slowed vibrato..a hint of Scottish brogue… breath control…and resonance that parallels any Operatic star.
What an amazing talent for our generation!

Beautifully nuanced and expressive! A real treasure. Hear how tenderly he sings “..darlin’ oh darlin’..”. I hope that someday Adam will feel free to sing in this classical way again and will make recordings for those of us who are not strictly pop music listeners.

Adam, your voice is a God given gift, not just for you but for the world to enjoy. The clarity, the timbre, it is a most pleasurable experience to listen to your voice AND the things you do with it. If you are this good at other things… aaahh

I’m going to see if I-Tunes can get this. I’d love to buy it. There is another HD version here, but it’s not complete. It doesn’t have his very last falsetto high note…which is magnificent. Check out “My Conviction” from Hair, by Adam Lambert. You’ll have to sit down for this one. Incredible

Absolutely amazing. I have no words to describe what I feel when I listen to him. Not to mention looking at him also. How do I get this download onto my computer? Can I buy it or download it anywhere? Don’t know how to download anything from You Tube.

Holy mother of God.
Most glorious part: 1:13 when he has an audible smile as he smiles and breathes in as he replies to the girl.
Oh that just pulled me all the way in. Damn.

Adam has vocals that can be a chameleon — he can be an opera singer, a rock star, a pop star — may he have along and lasting career and a voice to share to everyone– his voice is truly pure — Adam take care of yourself and voice—

His voice is like a magnet that takes you in a pulls you close to his heart. Even though I have never met him I feel like I know him because he is so genuine both inside and out. He has a gift and he will be sharing it with the world for years to come.
